Valentine's Day atau Hari Kekasih.....some people rasa tak patut celebrate...but for me...yang penting niat kite........celebrate bersama yang tersayang..not limited to bf/gf je..tapi ngn family & friends juga....ia merupakan hari kasih sayang yang disambut hampir seluruh pelusuk dunia...bila datang je February...mcm2 jenis gifts n cards dijual...promotion hotel n restaurant juga banyak untuk 14 February...time ni jugala harga bunga2 nek...haha..xksahla setahun sekali...common gifts yang orang bagi pada tanggal 14 February ini ialah, bunga, chocolate, card & teddy bear rasenya....Valentine's kali ini celebrate ngan family je..sebab buah2 hati jauh...masa terluang digunakan untuk buat cupcake sempena Valentine's Day (seperti gambar di atas)...ia xlah secun cupcake yang dipromosi kat blog2 & majalah2...tapi jadilah nak makan sendiri...resepi adalah seperti dibawah:-

Apple Cupcake

Bahan-bahannya ialah:

A

2 eggs

3/4 cup of milk

1/3 cup of melted butter

1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

B

2 1/4 cups of all purpose flour

1/2 granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon of baking powder

C

2 cups of apples peeled & chopped 

Cara-caranya ialah:

1. Panaskan oven 180-190 degrees Celcius

2. Sebatikan bahan-bahan A

3. Di mangkuk yang lain, campurkan bahan-bahan B

3. Campurkan bahan A & bahan B, gaul hingga sebati

4. Masukkan apple & kacau hingga sebati

5. Masukkan dalam paper cupcake 1/2 - 2/3 penuh

6. Bakar untuk 18-20 minit

Buttercream Icing

Bahan-bahannya ialah:

1/2 cup of solid vegetable shortening

1/2 cup of butter/margerine softened

1 teaspoon of clear vanilla extract

4 cups of sifted icing sugar

2 tablespoon of milk

Pewarna yang dibenarkan

Cara-caranya ialah:

1. Campurkan shortening & butter, gaul sehingga sebati

2. Masukkan vanilla

3. Masukkan gula sikit-sikit (one cup at a time), gaul sampai icing tu nampak cam kering

4. Masukkan susu & gaulkan sampaila dia nampak light & fluffy

5. Tambah pewarna yang dibenarkan mengikut citarasa anda

6. Decorate sesuka hati..kalau creative mesti cantik...haha

 Tips: Tutup icing dengan kain yang lembab sampaila time nak guna

Honey & Blackpepper Chicken fresh from my kitchen..

Mama dari haritu bising suruh masak ayam yang ayah beli dalam fridge tu...bukan taknak masak...cuma malas sedikit...hehe....finally on dis very boring Sunday, masak jugak ayam tu..hehe....the name should be honey & blackpepper chicken..since they are the major ingredients...the taste???!! erm...I don't know what people think but it's good enough for me (is it because i'm the one who cook it?)....kalau nak cube..silakan...

Bahan-bahannya ialah:

A

Sebiji bawang merah dihiris halus

4 ulas bawang putih dihiris

2 sudu besar madu

3 sudu besar sos lada hitam

2 sudu besar sos tiram

1 sudu besar sos barbeque 

1/2 sudu besar garam

1/2 sudu besar gula

lada sulah secukup rasa

B

Beberapa ketul ayam yang dipotong besar seperti gambar di atas

C

2 biji ubi kentang dipotong 4

1 batang lobak merah yang dipotong panjang-panjang

D

1/2 biji bawang merah dihiris

2 ulas bawang putih dihiris

3 sudu besar minyak masak (butter pun boleh)

Cara-caranya ialah:

1. Blend bahan-bahan A bersama

2. Perap ayam & bahan-bahan A yang telah diblend selama 1/2 jam atau lebih

2. Panaskan minyak masak di dalam kuali (I'm using oven pan)

3. Masukkan bahan-bahan D di dalam kuali, goreng hingga baunya naik

4. Masukkan ayam yang telah diperap (bersama bahan perap) bersama bahan-bahan C 

5. Tutup kuali dan biarkan beberapa minit sehingga ia diyakini masak..hehe....

Untuk sos??!!..'cecah' je ngan sambal belacan..da tentu sedap =p

2009 Economic Crisis..

How big is the impact.... to Orange =p

I'm here not to talk about the economy..how the Dollars, MYR or Yen drops in the stock market worldwide.Because I have no idea on what it is all about...but since I'm 'makan gaji' right now, 'terasa juga penangannya'.I started my career in high petrol price period, I have to spend half of my salary to fill up my tank + the tolss...YIKES!!It was a bless when the petrol price drops..and then came the economic crisis + the war(yes, it is related)...At first, I thought nothing much to worry.But by working in a big worldwide company (own by the US, which is why the crisis & the war related), the crisis felt to the throat. No, they don't cut-off my pay. No, they don't kick me off..yet...but I do feel the impact now. Need to save more, and spend less (the hardest part)...I'm in a job hunting right now,to reserve place before my contract end this October. Less than 9 months to go. In this type of 'season', a dream job might be just a dream.....hope there will always be the 'sun' after the 'rain' =)

JEALOUS??!!

JEALOUSY....it's the feeling that occur to man & woman...wether it's just a bit or drawn u under...I'd experience it, & I'm sure most of u do. I came to an article from YAHOO on OVERCOMING JEALOUSY which remind me of some funny moments in my journey till dis very moment. These are some of the tips to overcome the green-eyed montser in you..specially dedicated to each and everyone of u.. =)

1. Leave the Players and the Flirts Behind

One of the best ways to overcome jealousy is to not get involved with flirts and players. One of the best ways to overcome jealousy is to not get involved with flirts and players. There are singles out there who will thrive on making you jealous because they like the dating drama and attention. If you're jealous, they know that you are constantly obsessing over them and dwelling on them. By provoking your jealousy, they've just made themselves the center of your universe. Instead, be smart -- kick them out of your universe and find a better date.

2. Determine if You're Jealous in This Relationship or Every Relationship

In order to overcome jealousy, you've got to figure out whether you're being real or being paranoid. Normal jealousy can actually serve a purpose. It's there to alert you to a partner's possible infidelity -- a threat to the relationship. Is your relationship actually being threatened or is the jealousy in your head only? A good way to figure out if there's a basis to your jealousy is to reflect on your past relationships. Are you always jealous even if you haven't had a reason to be? Do you have trust issues in every relationship or just this one? Also, talk to some friends or family who can be objective about the situation and help you sort out your jealous feelings -- a counselor can also be helpful with this.

3. Get Confident in Dating

The source of a lot of the jealousy has nothing to do with what your date does; it lies within you. If you're upset because your date drools a little when he or she sees a fashion model or celebrity in a magazine, don't start comparing yourself to that image. Work on your dating confidence and focus on all you have to offer. Then, your envy of others will dramatically decrease.

4. Talk It Through

Learn to communicate your jealous feelings in a healthy way. For instance, let your mate know that you're jealous about the amount of time the attractive coworker gets to spend with him or her. Make sure as you're talking, you're not accusing. Accusing makes any person defensive, and you won't get anywhere.

5. Draw the Line

Particularly, if you are in a monogamous relationship with someone, you need to establish what behaviors are acceptable to you and what behaviors will bring out the green-eyed monster in you. Are you okay with your partner constantly texting a single man -- or single woman? Will that send you over the edge? How do you feel about your partner dancing with someone else at a club when you aren't around? Establishing reasonable boundaries and respecting them gets both of you on the same playing field. Are you not spending enough quality time together? Has the passion died down over the years? Once you identify what's really concerning you, then you can address it with your partner and work on strengthening the relationship rather than wasting time and energy on empty jealous feelings.
